According to National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA), the solar eclipse will be viewable in Atlanta around 1:02 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. A total eclipse occurs when the moon’s diameter is larger than the sun's and blocks all direct sunlight turning the day into darkness. It is expected to occur around 2:32 p.m. and end at 2:39 p.m.
